Lyons Xpress Transportation or LXT has been the name of our Railroad - Trucking - Bus Charters - Construction -& Air Cargo division since around year 2002.
It's roots are in the 1970s era water bottling & trucking co we ran back then which lead to our first 1980s era virtual airline operations.
LXT Railroad is all HO scale operations, truly a model railroad.
LXT is not set up currently to utilize any virtual railroading software, but who knows what the future holds in that area.
After all, our current virtual airlines operations began as an airport on a model railroad layout with die cast toy aircraft!
LXT currently operates our Air Tampa charter services.
Air Tampa is our retro airline that joined flight schedules with LSA in 1984. Since 2005, we have operated Air Tampa only as a retro airline, that being a virtual airline which operates in a past time frame.
However, this summer, LXT has painted up some of their fleet aircraft in Air Tampa colors!
So the Air Tampa name can be seen on Boeing 737-500 aircraft in today's time frame.
Air Tampa retro flights are on retro timetables currently.
We plan to have some really old timetables someday soon.
For now they are during the early 1980s.
If you want to fly LXT cargo jets or charter 737-500s, you will need to fill out an online form and send a message. You also must be a Crewmember of our virtual airline to download our fleet.

LXT HQ moves to PIE
LXT recently moved it's headquarters from Sarasota Airport SRQ to
Clearwater/St Pete Intl Airport PIE across the street from Pinellas Airlines' HQ.
