Pinellas Air Group Terms and Conditions Notice to Applicants Updated July 16, 2009 Terms and Conditions Pinellas Air Group/Pinellas Virtual Airlines/LSA/Air Tampa is a Microsoft Flight Simulator 98/2002/2004/FSX based Virtual Airline. We have virtual aircraft for fs98/fs2002/2004/FSX. Although you may use other programs, We do not have aircraft for other flight simulator programs. Our other divisions may or may not require the use of a particular program, however, the 30 day checkin rule applies to all Crewmembers. ALL Crewmembers are required to file at least ONE Flight Report/PIREP each month (every 30 days). Our members have varying knowlege and experience. But no matter what they do for a living, all have one thing in common. The love of flight, aviation, airlines. Flight itself and the romance of flying interest people from all walks of life. Membership in Pinellas Air Group is totally voluntary on the part of the Member and Pinellas Air Group and is for fun. Membership can be termintated at anytime either by the Member OR Pinellas Air Group and it's staff, with or without reason or cause. Important: Read first We ARE NOT a real Transportation company. The online Group in which you have stated you want to join is a "virtual airline" and "Virtual Transportation" Group. Virtual Airlines and Model Railroads are imaginary/fictional for people who enjoy Microsoft Flight Simulator and Train Simulator as a hobby. Sharing the good times, the joy we felt as children with our train sets and trips to the airport. Some of our members have real world airline experience. Some want to know more about aviation or trains. We are a group of Friends getting together online to email, share reports, experiences, conversations and generally have a good time. If this describes you, respond back and advise us that you are ready to fill out an application. Once your membership is confirmed, you will be requried to read, understand and abile by our Standard Operating Proceedures, General Rules and Standard Practice Manuals. Pinellas Air Group Basic Operations "Basic Company Flight Guidelines" We Believe in People........We believe in promoting JOY in life. We DON'T Believe in making things difficult. We don't believe in making something that is supposed to be fun;........"burdensome"and no fun anymore. So, it's pretty much up to you how detailed you want to keep your records. You fly YOUR CHOICE of Aircraft from our fleet. YOU choose your routes from our hubs and cities served Then, the trip is up to you. We DO provide links for schedules that are route based, and have departure and arrival times. You may choose to model your flights after these. Again, that's really up to you. Pinellas Crew Members strive to make each flight as pleasurable as possible for all concerned. There are no strict guidelines as to how you navigate your aircraft....after all.....it IS Virtual. You can log your flight time by filing a Pilot Report or "PIREP" on the homepage. We ask that you also keep a personal log of your own flight time. After all, it is YOUR flight time and you can carry it with you no matter who you fly for. There's an old saying..... "KISS" which stands for "Keep it simple" and we plan to do just that to optimize the experience for everybody. You can fly from any of our Hub cities to anywhere we fly! You can also hand pick your destination and call it a "charter" as we do fly charter services. IMPORTANT: It's very important that we all use good common sense in filing Flight reports. We are very leanient in what you say in them. We are not so concerned over minor things.......as in, we think it's neat to make the reports fun for everyone. It's all in good fun. Good Example of acceptable postings: "rough landing in the 727, everyone was glad to get on the ground, I think half the air bags were used in the back." "Great flight, love flying the 737-300" "Just want to say Hi to everyone in Pinellas Land!" "This is one of my favorite places to fly" "Had a wonderdul flight" "The passengers were a little restless on this flight so we passed out hot towels" Most Crew Members that have been here for a while know what is appropriate to post online. As we really don't care what you post in the pireps comments most of the time, we do ask you use some basic common sense guidelines. If you would not think it would be acceptable to post it online, don't post it. Think it over before you post it. We do give you chances to know what is not appropriate before we would take any corrective action. Joking around, and having fun are very important aspects of being a Pinellas Pilot. Do things in good taste. If you have a question, please ask before you post it. Over time, you will fully be able to understand what is good and what is not to post.
